Judith Q. Bielan, Esq. is a partner in the law firm of Bielan, Miklos & Makrogiannis P.C. She was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1989 and the New York Bar in 1990. She is a certified matrimonial attorney and received the Hudson County Family Law of the Year Award in 2005. Ms. Bielan started her career as an associate with the law firm of Schumann, Hanlon, O'Connor and McCrossin from 1989 to 1993. Since then, she has owned her own firm. In her present firm of Bielan, Miklos, & Makrogiannis, P.C. she continues to handle all aspects of litigation in real estate, family law, contract disputes and estate matters.
She served as President of the Hudson County Bar Association in 2010. She currently serves as a member of the New Jersey State Bar Legislative Committee. She serves on the Hudson County Bar Association's Family Law and Early Settlement Panelist Committees. Previously, she served on the Hudson County Fee Arbitration Committee, and is periodically appointed by the Court to serve as a Condemnation Commissioner, and as a court-appointed attorney in guardianship matters.
Ms. Bielan is a co-founder and director of BCB Community Bank which opened in 2000.
Ms. Bielan has volunteered and served the New Jersey and Hudson County communities over three decades. She has served as a Trustee on the Board of Women Rising, and on the Bayonne Economic Opportunity Foundation. Throughout the years, she coached both boys’ and girls’ basketball teams at the Bayonne PAL and in 2019 was inducted into the PAL Hall of Fame. She is a former Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of Holy Family Academy of Bayonne. She holds a B.A. from Montclair State College and a juris doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law.

(law degree) from Seton Hall University of Law, upon her graduation she was Law Clerk to the late Honorable Stephen J. Schaeffer, who was the Presiding Judge of Family Law for Hudson County.

She currently sits as an Officer for the Hudson County Bar Association and is co-chair of the Hudson County Family Division.
Jessica H. Connors joined Bielan, Miklos, & Makrogiannis in October of 2012. Ms. Connors graduated from CUNY School of Law in 2011.
After graduation, Ms. Connors worked as a Justice Fellow with the Community Legal Resource Network in the New York Unified Court System where she advocated for pro se litigants in Civil Court, in the areas of Housing Law, Consumer Debt, and Uncontested Divorce.
Ms. Connors currently handles residential, commercial real estate matters, collection matters, tax appeals, and general litigation issues.
After graduation Ms. Neiman was the law clerk to the Honorable Peter J. Tober J.S.C. in Somerset County, New Jersey in the family law division. During her clerkship, Ms. Neiman was exposed to a wide array of family law topics and received a crash course in the areas of alimony, equitable distribution, child support, and custody to name a few. Ms. Neiman also honed her mediation skills by successfully assisting litigants reach consent agreements on a variety of issues.
Ms. Neiman currently handles family law matters, residential and commercial real estate matters, landlord-tenant matters, guardianship matters, and wills and estate matters. She is a member of the Hudson County Bar Association, Hudson County Family Law Committee, Hudson County Young Lawyers Division, New Jersey State Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Family Law Section and New Jersey State Bar Young Lawyers Division.
After graduation, Ms. Winslow was law clerk for the Honorable Maureen B. Mantineo, who is the Presiding Judge of the Family Division in Hudson County Superior Court. During her clerkship she gained valuable experience and knowledge in family law, including divorce, post divorce judgment matters, non-dissolution, and domestic violence.
While in law school Ms. Winslow was a Notes Editor for the Women’s Rights Law Reporter. In addition, she was a student attorney for the Criminal and Youth Justice Clinic. While in law school and college, Christina also participated in numerous mock trial competitions.
Ms. Winslow currently handles family law and real estate matters.
